When we face people and converse with them, we want to be presentable. Thus, having oily face and acne bumps and zits can ruin somebody's self esteem. I have been struggling for acne for almost a year now. Back in high school I always have clear skin. I can still remember how easy to go out with out spending much time in front of the mirror. I got some pimples from time to time but it never alarmed me at all. Not until I turned 20. My face became so oily! I started having major break out because of stress and maybe a part of growing up too. At first I was like, ok with it. But when It already went over board, I opt to try almost all of the acne treatment drugstore product that can be found anywhere. Instead of having it healed, it became worst.
Until I decided to visit a dermclinic to have my acne treatment done. And I am going to show you and tell you each of the detail about it.
At first, my main reason why I visited a dermclinic is to inquire for glutathione injection rates. But I end up getting the acne treatment facial.
Let me just show you how acne ruined my self esteem. hehehe
As what you can see on the picture My acnes are big wide zits. It may not be that noticeable because of the filter but you will be able to see it when you look closely. This is the only pic that I can get where you can see a bit of my Acne because I always opt to use filters on my photo to fade those away.
So when I started the treatment the person initiating the facial put some cream on my face. I don't know what that cream for. hehehe
My acne kinda faded here because of the cream. After the cream had been placed, she placed a steaming machine near my head and let the steam from the machine touched my face.
I really thought thats how the whole 1 hour facial will be. It was really relaxing. But I was really shocked when the attendant started pricking my Acne. It was really painful! I kept on asking her if we were almost done because I don't want it anymore.
I gave myself a selfie and I was shocked on how my face looks like. I have been bleeding seriously. As what you can see, my face was really puffy. I was literally crying through out the whole pricking. After all of the acne had been pricked, she gave me some antibiotics and pat it on the wounded part of my face.
My eyes were red due to crying.LOL. After a couple of minutes, she spread some hydrating mud mask on my face to reduce the redness.
After the seasion, I went out the clinic like this....
I was like a korean teen who just got his plastic surgery.hahaha.
I went out the clinic with the medication given to me by the derm nurses.
Which also includes a pimple fighting soap. This set of medication consist of a soap, toner and two spot treatment which were Acne antibiotic and the tretinoin gel. I was instructed not to wash my face until the next day to avoid infection. The spot treatments can only be applied every other night. While the soap and cleanser must be used everyday morning and evening.
After 24 hours, my face looks like this. I can't wear any make up to cover up the blemishes so I went to work wearing mask. I cant face the world like this you know. hehehehe.
On the third day, the wounds were starting to heal.
With high hopes, everything went fine through out the healing process. I was wearing mask for two weeks. I dont want to wear any make up ceven though the wounds were already completely healed because I want to give my skin a rest from cosmetics.
After a week, my skin was a lot clearer. No acne break outs. I got some major blemishes which I need to cover up. I am planning to have some micro needling in the future to get rid of the blemishes.
3 weeks had passed now, I have been getting some acne lately but because of the medication they fade a way faster. I can say that my acne now are very controllable. All I have now are blemishes. So I am searching ways to get rid of it. For the mean time, I am using concealer and still searching for best foundation that can give me the coverage I need with out the need of applying tons of it. I dont want the people around me to notice that I am wearing make up. I want to look as natural as possible.
I will be reviewing those products soon!
So thats it. To wrap everything up, I can say that the session was fine. But if given the chance to go back in time, I will not going to have the treatment. Aside from the painful process, I dont like the fact that it left me blemishes. I should've researched more acne treatment that can kill my acne at once with out leaving blemishes. But overall, its still okey, because I can now control my Acne and I know I can find ways to get rid of the blemishes soon.
